Mrs. Aarti Didwania is a Senior Faculty member working in Physiotherapy Department of SDMH since 1993. She completed her graduation B.Sc. (Physical Therapy) from Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai.
She has extensive experience in assessing and developing treatment goals based on patient’s diagnosis; be it pain management or any other physical impairment and disability.
Her primary focus is to promote fitness, health, and wellness in her patients, at the same time guiding would be mothers to prepare for labor and post-delivery by effective counseling and exercises.
Dr. Jain remained associated with Late Dr. P.K Sethi for nearly 12 years and worked in various research projects with him, sponsored by Department Science & Technology, Government of India for design and development of low weight thermoplastic rehabilitation aids and Jaipur foot. He organized a training programme for doctors and rehabilitation technicians from Vietnam, Bangladesh, Mozambique, Angola etc.
Dr. Jain and his department have been awarded for his work by Rajasthan chapter of National Academy of Medical Sciences, Rajasthan Medical Council, Times, Jaipur Medical Association and quality council of India (DL Shah Award).
He has also been involved in Chief Minister awarded project titled “Jaipur Belt Spinal Brace” which is funded by US-India Science and Technology Endowment Fund. Dr. Jain has also been on the International Advisory Panel to complete the systematic Review for International Society of Prosthetics & Orthotics (ISPO).
Dr. Jain holds an immense interest in academics and has been involved with the research project of Ohio State University, Michigan Technological University USA and Jiv Daya Foundation Texas, USA to name a few. He has published numerous research papers in internationally renowned journals.
Mr. Upadhyay did his B.Sc. from Rajasthan University in April 1977 and Diploma in Physiotherapy from SMS Medical College, Jaipur in 1979. He is a life member in Indian Association of Physiotherapy (member of world confederation for physical therapy). He has been providing his services in SDMH since 1980.
Reeti Vasistha is a Consultant in Physiotherapy Department at SDM Hospital. Her area of experience and training is Orthopedics & Mutual Physical Therapy. She completed her Master’s Degree in Orthopedic Physiotherapy and certificate course in Dry Needling. Her primary interest includes dry needling, manual physical therapy & pain science.
She has extensive experience in Pain Management. She has been associated with SDMH since 1992. She is also pursuing a certificate course in Development Disability Management and takes the keen interest in working with children with developmental issues.
