Dr. Chandra Shekhar Joshi obtained MBBS degree from SMS Medical College in1975. He obtained M.D. from Govt. Medical College Amritsar, India. He also did the fellowship in Cytology from AIIMS New Delhi.
He initially worked in King Fahad Hospital, Saudi Arabia, as the specialist in the blood bank and later in Nigeria as a specialist in Pathology Department, Sokoto University Teaching Hospital.
He is presently working as Consultant Pathology in Department of Pathology in Santokba Durlabhji Hospital.
Dr. Gupta is Head of Department, Department of Pathology and Transfusion Medicine at SDM Hospital Jaipur. Dr. Gupta completed his undergraduate (MBBS) and Post Graduation (MD, Pathology) from SMS Medical College Rajasthan University, Jaipur. Dr. Gupta has the special interest in implementing and developing quality management system in diagnostic lab and blood bank.
He is accreditation committee member as well as lead assessor for National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratory (NABL). He is also Technical Committee Chairperson and Principal Assessor for National Accreditation Board of Hospital and Healthcare Provider (NABH) Blood Bank. He is the member of State Blood Transfusion Council and also Counselor Trainer for HIV/AIDS for Govt. of Rajasthan. Dr. Gupta has conducted many training programmes in India and neighboring countries for the implementation of Quality Management in the diagnostic lab and blood bank.
He has been faculty in many national and international conferences and CMEs. He has 13 publications in national and international journals. He is the editor and member editorial board of the journal of repute. He is also a member of Governing Council Asian Association of Transfusion Medicine. He has received many awards including ‘Outstanding Contribution Award” for HIV prevention by Rajasthan State AIDS Control Society, ‘Outstanding Contribution Award” in the field of Pathology by IAPM (Rajasthan Chapter) and ‘Chikitsa Vibhusan Award” by Jaipur Medical Association (JMA).
Dr. Mansi Faujdar did her Post Graduation from King George's Medical College, Lucknow in 2005 and graduated from LLRM Medical College Meerut. She is looking after the SDMH Laboratory services since September 2005. She is a trained NABL Assessor for clinical laboratories. Her special interest is in Neuropathology (trained especially in electron microscopy in NIMHANS, Bangalore) Oncopathology and Gastrointestinal Pathology.
She has been conferred with the award for “Best Outgoing Student” of the college for the year 1999 in King George Medical College, Lucknow. She was accorded with the certificate of honors and distinction in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Ophthalmology, Medicine, Surgery, Anatomy, Physiology and University Gold Medal in Pathology. She was also awarded SDMH Excellence Award in the year 2012. She has published many papers in both national and international indexed journals. She has also presented posters and papers in national conferences.
Dr. Menka Kapil did her post graduation in DNB Pathology from SDMH cum Medical Research Institute, Jaipur in the year 2012 and graduation from Rabindranath Tagore Medical College, Udaipur in 2004. She also did Diploma in Pathology from Sir H N hospital Mumbai.
She joined SDMH in 2008, initially worked as Senior Resident in the department and is currently working as Consultant Pathologist. She has special interest in Hematopathology, oncopathology blood banking, biochemistry, clinical pathology and laboratory quality management system.
She did ISO 15189:2012 training for quality management system or clinical laboratory from IIQM, Jaipur. She has multiple publications in reputed indexed international and national journals. She is also a lifetime member of Indian Society of Blood Transfusion Medicine.
Dr. Rateesh Sareen did his post graduation in DNB Pathology from Bhagwan Mahaveer Cancer Hospital, Jaipur in the year 2009 and graduation from Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College, Ajmer in 2004. He is also a Post Graduate in Hospital Management & Planning from IIHMR Jaipur. He joined the institute in 2010 and worked as Medical Officer Blood Bank till 2013 and thereafter is working as Consultant Pathologist in the department.
He has special interest in hematopathology, oncopathology, blood banking, biochemistry and clinical pathology. He is currently pursuing Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Law & Ethics from National Law School Bangalore. He is the Master Trainer for all blood bank officers and technicians in Rajasthan for National AIDS Control Organization and has been successfully conducting training since SDMH became the regional training center.
He has many publications in reputed indexed international and national journals. He is also a lifetime member of Indian Academy of Pathology & Microbiology, Indian Society of Transfusion Medicine. He was also awarded SDMH Excellence Award in the year 2012.
Dr. Rohit Jain did his Post graduation from the Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, B J Medical College, Ahmedabad in 2008 and Graduated from Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College & Hospital, Kolkata in 2003. He has special interest in Hematopathology, Oncopathology, Clinical Pathology, Biochemistry and Quality Management Systems. He has improvised the conventional bone marrow aspiration procedure using the 18 gauge spinal needle which is less invasive and painful for both the pediatric & adult patients and has conducted more than 3000 procedures. Dr. Rohit is an assessor for NABH–Medical laboratory programme. He has been trained for FISH and other Molecular Techniques at AIIMS Delhi, PGI Chandigarh & TMH Mumbai and Cytogenetic Techniques at SRL Diagnostics Mumbai. He has published 19 papers in both national and international indexed journals. He is a peer reviewer and editorial board member for many national and international journals. He has published world’s 1st case Dz ESCC with metastasis in the young age of caustic ingestion of shortest duration: case report with review of literature dz in The international journal of Gastrointestinal Cancer which has also been cited as reference in Pediatric Surgery 7th edition 2012.
He is the only participant from Asia in the ongoing global patient percentile monitoring project in collaboration with University of Ghent, Belgium since September 2013.
He was conferred with prestigious “Young Oncologist Travel Grant Award” on May 7, 2008 at Dana Point, California, USA at 90th The American Radium Society Annual Meeting. He is also the Member Secretary of the hospital’s Institutional Ethics Committee
Dr. Shubha Gupta is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Pathology. Her special interest is in Histopathology with expertise in Oncopathology, GI Pathology and Renal Pathology. She has had her early training in histopathology at Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai and CMC Vellore. She had established immunohistochemistry techniques and immunofluorescence for the first time in Rajasthan.
She has published extensively in various national and international journals.
Dr. Sunita Gupta is a Senior Consultant Microbiology at SDMH, Jaipur. She did her MBBS from SMS Medical College Jaipur and MD Microbiology from SMS, Jaipur in year 2000. She has a vast experience in field of Microbiology, of more than 15 years. She has also done specialized training in identification of fungal infections at PGIMER Chandigarh. She has also received Women's Empowerment Award in 2016.
She is a NABL Technical Assessor for Microbiology and Serology in National Accreditation Board of Testing and Calibration Laboratory [NABL] under Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. She has done NABH Assessor Training Course and CAP Training Course for Certificate of Compliance for Essential Standards for Medical Laboratories.
Dr. Vibha did MBBS from Dr. S. N. Medical College Jodhpur, Rajasthan in 2001.Her postgraduate training completed at RNT Medical College, Rajasthan University of Health and Sciences Jaipur. She is in-charge of Microbiology section and Secretary of the Hospital Infection Control Committee. She is also working as coordinator Quality Assessment for Microbiology laboratory and Blood Bank and Secretary of Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD).
She has specific interest in clinical microbiology and hospital infection control. She has participated in many CMEs on microbiology and hospital infection prevention. She has been creating infection control awareness by ongoing training and teaching activities in hospital. She has an important role in formulation of hospital antibiotic policy. She has also published few papers in peer reviewed journals.
She has successfully participated in training of ISO 15189:2012(2014). For her contribution to development of hospital infection control she has been awarded the Santokba Durlabhji Award for Excellence in 2010 and Santokba Durlabhji Foundation Day Award in 2013.
