Dr. Piyush Mathur MBBS, DNB (Internal Medicine), DNB (Nephrology) Fellowship (Acute care Dialysis/CRRT)

Dr. Piyush did his MBBS from S.N. Medical College, Jodhpur in 1997 and post graduation in Internal Medicine from Kamineni Institute, Hyderabad. He did further super specialization in Nephrology from Care Hospital, Hyderabad. He had also been sponsored by International Society of Nephrology for advanced training in acute care dialysis/CRRT at University of California, San Diego. He has clinical experience of nearly 20 years and has worked at different positions in various institutions including Indian Railways, Nuclear Power Corporation of India ltd, Kamineni Institute and Care Hospital, Hyderabad.
He initiated the renal transplant program at SDMH and the first renal transplant was done by renal transplant team in February 2018. He has a special interest in acute kidney injury and Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and is invited faculty in the state as well as national conferences to talk on CRRT and other aspects of Nephrology.
He is the member of all national and regional societies of Nephrology. He has a keen interest in academics and is the author of chapters on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapies and Acute Kidney Injury in many prestigious textbooks of Nephrology and dialysis. Besides this, he has many publications and abstracts to his credit in indexed journals.

Dr. Surendra Kumar Pareek H.O.D., M.D. (Medicine), D.M. (Nephrology), MNAMS (Nephrology), Commonwealth Medical Fellow in Nephrology

Dr. Surendra Kumar Pareek did his medical graduation in the year 1968 and his M.D. in Medicine in the year 1973 from S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur. He completed his training in Nephrology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi and Christian Medical Hospital, Vellore.
He completed his Doctor of Nephrology (D.M.) in 1979 from P.G. Institute of Medical Sciences, Chandigarh and MNAMS (Nephrology) from National Board of Examination, New Delhi in 1980. He was awarded Commonwealth Medical Fellowship in the field of Nephrology at UK in the year 1982-83.
Dr. Pareek had been a faculty member in S.M.S. Medical College and Hospital since 1973 till his superannuation in 2007 in capacity of senior professor and Head, Department of Nephrology. He started dialysis facility in Rajasthan in the year 1973 and in due course started renal transplantation and D.M. (Nephrology) course in S.M.S. Hospital. Dr. Pareek has 42 years of experience as a clinical and academic Nephrologist.
He has keen interest in learning, teaching and knowing about the latest update in the medical field to bring in more productive results. After his superannuation Dr. Pareek joined Santokba Durlabhji Memorial Hospital in 2007 as Honorary Consultant & Head, Department of Nephrology.
For his contribution to the field of Nephrology, he was also awarded Fellowship of Indian Society of Nephrology in 1990. He has been awarded the Times Rajasthan Health Achiever Award for his contribution in 2014 and also awarded for being one of the distinguished alumni of S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur. He had been the President of Indian Society of Nephrology from 1990 to 2000. He has contributed thirty scientific papers in various journals and has delivered various guest lectures.
